Date Night (closed to Roosevelt)

"You can do this, Samantha," she said out loud to her reflection in the mirror as she finished her makeup. "You've faced hardened criminals in open court, you learned to walk again, you can certainly handle dinner with an attractive man you've already seen socially a few times without turning into a complete idiot."

As pep talks go, it probably wasn't going to win any awards, but it did the job for her. She'd gone down at least a few degrees of nervousness. Enough that she was able to clasp the necklace around her neck finally. And almost, but not quite, stopped checking the her phone every few minutes, both for the time or any messages about something coming up.

She took one last look in the mirror, slipped on her shoes, and went out to the front part of the loft to do...something while she waited.

Samantha squeaked again when he caught her legs and she went sprawling onto the bed. Immediately, she tried to get her feet free and inch her way up the mattress towards the headboard to get away. "Oh I will. Believe me. Revenge will be mine. I guarantee that."

Of course, first she'd have to stop giggling and squeaking like a little girl.

"Are you sure about that?" he asked, hands slipping up under her shirt to tickle her sides. The feel of her skin against his sent a shiver through him but he absolutely loved it. Plus, she was playful and that was always a good sign when you could laugh with a woman.

"I'm sure...," she managed as she kept trying to get away from his tickling fingers but the effort proved futile. Just as her own attempts to get near anyplace even remotely ticklish on his side. She might, she thought, have to bide her time on that one and wait until he was unsuspecting...if that ever happened.

Then she moved a little in an attempt to get away and his tickling fingers covered her breast instead and the giggle, this time, was more like a moan.

"Oh, that was a different sound," he said with a slight grin while she moaned. Slowly his thumb brushed against one of her nipples, just to see what sort of reaction he would get. Roosevelt had a feeling that he knew what it would be though. Occasionally he hissed loudly and squirmed a bit when she touched a few ticklish spots.

"If you had your shirt off I wouldn't accidentally brush against that spot."

Samantha took a second to think that statement over but didn't move from where she was. "So if my shirt was off you'd stop touching that spot accidentally, or that you'd stop altogether?" she asked, wanting to be sure because that brush of his fingers had felt absolutely incredible.

"Well it wouldn't be touching on accident anymore," Roosevelt said, smiling down at her. She looked so adorable thinking it over he hoped that she considered it a bit longer. She had a very good thoughtful look. "You take yours off I'll remove mine?"

It was probably not really progressive of her, but she didn't really care. She had a thing for men's chests and she really wanted her hands on Roosevelt's. Without a word, she pulled herself up just enough to strip the shirt off and toss it onto the floor. "Deal," she commented as she lay back down.
